Comparing colleges — common questions

Can I compare two colleges without creating an account?
Yes. Pick any two colleges and the comparison loads straight away — location, type and ownership, NIRF and UniTracko rankings, and the courses each one offers. No sign-up, and nothing to pay.
What is compared on this page?
Three sections: Overview, which covers location, college type, ownership and establishment; Rankings, with NIRF and UniTracko's own college and category ranks; and Courses, listing the programmes each college offers. Fields that are the same on both sides are dimmed, so what differs stands out.
What do I get with an account?
Fees and placements, admissions, and eligibility — program and hostel fees, average package and placement rate, admission route and the month-by-month timeline, plus accepted entrance exams, documents required and counselling steps. Those are part of the full comparison on the UniTracko dashboard.
Why can I only pick colleges that teach similar courses?
Once you choose the first college, the second picker narrows to colleges offering at least one of the same courses. Comparing an engineering college against a law school would line up rows that do not mean the same thing.
Where does the information come from?
The same college records the UniTracko dashboard uses, so every value shown here is the one a signed-in student sees.
